The “B2TiP MIAPP”-Workshop 15 - 17 November 2016 will take place at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Garching. When you exit the subway station (front exit), go straight ahead until you reach the IAS.

From Munich airport: 

Recommended Ticket to Munich: Airport-City-Day-Ticket

Recommended Ticket to Garching: Single Day Ticket Outer District

Metro line: S1 "Ostbahnhof". Departure: every 20 minutes.

Change at Neufahrn to bus 690 "Garching Forschungszentrum"

Travel time: 45 minutes.

Metro line S8 "Herrsching". Departure: every 20 minutes

Change at Ismaning to bus 230 "Garching Forschungszentrum"

Travel Time: 45 minutes

From Munich main station: 

Undergound: U2  "Kolumbusplatz, Messestadt Ost"

Change at Sendlinger Tor to U6 "Garching Forschungszentrum"

Travel time: 30 minutes.
