MIAPP office

The MIAPP Office staff will be pleased to help you with any questions, concerns or requests, please do not hesitate to walk in or contact us by phone (ext. -7200) or e-mail.
Office hours are Mon - Fri from 9:00 to 17:00.

Desk space

At MIAPP every participant gets office space assigned. The individual desks are fully equipped with stationery, LAN connection, desk container and phone.

Office sizes range between single offices and offices with up to four desks.

Journals, Licences or Software for your Research

In case you require any journals, licences or software programmes for your research, MIAPP office staff can provide information on availability.

Library

Printers

Two duplex printers are at your disposal. For printing you need to be connected to the local area network (LAN), it will not work using WLAN. If you need help installing the printers please do not hesitate to contact the MIAPP staff. 

Bicycles

MIAPP has 12 bicycles that can be borrowed against a refundable deposit of 50EUR. Bicycles will preferably be given to participants who live in Garching or Ismaning and want to cycle between the Campus and their lodgings. Nevertheless, if you want to borrow a bicycle for a weekend trip, there are also several bike stores in the Munich area that rent bikes at fair prices.

Soccer

A soccer ball can be borrowed from the MIAPP registration office against a deposit of 10€ - soccer can be played on the lawn next to the MIAPP building or on any other lawn on campus as long as nobody is disturbed

Basketball

A basketball can be borrowed from the MIAPP registration office against a deposit of 10€ - basketball can be played on the TUM basketball court with special EPDM sound-absorbing coating

Volleyball

A volleyball can be borrowed from the MIAPP registration office against a deposit of 10€ - volleyball can be played on the TUM beach volleyball court or anywhere on campus as long as nobody is disturbed

Table tennis

Table tennis can be played on the TUM sports facilities

Bouldering

3m high "Boulder Egg" to be used freely on TUM sports facilities

Lufthansa Airport Bus (one-way 10.50€; Return ticket 17€)

Lufthansa Airport Bus connects Munich main station with Munich North (U-Bahn station Nordfriedhof) and Munich Airport.
