How to reach us
By public transport
- From Munich Airport
Take the S-Bahn number 1 (S1). At the stop Neufahrn transfer to bus number 690 towards "Garching-Forschungszentrum". The trip takes about 40 minutes. Please note that this bus does not run often and mainly on weekdays. You can find other connections on the MVV web page. A taxi ride costs about 40.00 Euros. - From Munich downtown
- Take the subway U6 to the final destination "Garching-Forschungszentrum"; approx. 25 min.
- take train S1 to Neufahrn and then via bus 690 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum".

Travel by car
The research campus Garching can be reached by Autobahn A9:
- From Munich
Take Autobahn A9 towards Nürnberg, exit "Garching-Nord" and follow the signs to Forschungszentrum. - From Nürnberg or Airport München
Take Autobahn A9 towards München, exit "Garching-Nord" and follow the signs to Forschungszentrum.
